Past media coverage on our #leveragelove campaigns: The Dodo, The Chive

We started Leverage Love after seeing some of the popular dog shaming signs on the internet. We wanted to leverage the love we have for our community and rescue pups into something greater. The goal was to accomplish a few things:

1. Raise awareness for rescue organizations

2. Create a positive message about what our rescue dogs do for us.

3. Raise money for rescue.

For #leveragelove3 we are supporting Marley's Mutts:

Marley’s Mutts is a non-profit animal rescue organization tirelessly devoted to saving lives by exploring and cultivating the human-canine bond. Our approach to success is three-fold: 1) Proactive community education and therapy programs which target youth, the incarcerated, the underprivileged, the disadvantaged and the needy, 2) Exhaustive spay and neuter programs for low income, high euthanasia districts and 3) World-wide rescue and rehabilitation programs aimed at saving lives of desperate dogs wherever we can be of service.

After we posted about #leveragelove3 a local craft brewery, Poseidon Brewing Company reached out and said they wanted to help support this amazing rescue organization as well.

Here are the details:

1. #leveragelove3 runs from February 1st - February 14th in support of Marley's Mutts.

2. We want you to create a positive sign about what your rescue pup does for you and your family. Write a post about it, take a photo, and post to instagram.

3. Use the hashtag #leveragelove3 and tag @marleysmutts, @rescuestrongsupplyco, and @poseidonbrewingco in the photo.

4. For each #leveragelove3 post made during the 2 week period Poseidon Brewing Company will donate $5 to Marley's Mutts up to $1,000!

5. Optional but highly encouraged - make a donation to Marley's Mutts and forward the receipt to luna@rescuestrong.com. Rescue Strong will match donations made during the 2 week campaign up to $1,000.

Let's raise some funds, awareness, and positivity.
